I design mobile apps to optimize convenience and portability. This helps users with daily activities, establish routines, and provide quick access to resources.
Time-wager was a passion project and part of a UI challenge. Sometimes we need a little perspective on how much material things are actually worth. Monetary value doesn't accurately reflect the impact of your mortal life, which is limited by time—especially for hourly workers. I wanted to address wage disparity with this interactive app. I also pushed myself to design this app in 10 hours and my developer colleague took on the challenge to learn React Native to develop this app in 3 weeks. We made it live on ExpoGo and you can view the code in the GitHub link below.
A successful Tarot card deck, Mystic Mondays also provides a digital app that allows users to get tarot and oracle readings on the go! I spent 3 months redesigning the app and over 6 months developing the app to include a new insights feature and incorporate the newest decks. The purpose of the redesign was to make it scalable by incorporating a new CMS/admin panel design that would help with the backend overhaul. After the launch, the app was optimized with a 142.9% increase in conversions and 9,607.0% in revenue within 60 days! You can download it in the Apple App and Google Play store.
College Bird helps college students find their niche career in tech with a curated algorithm similar to Spotify's music discovery algorithm. I worked with a UX Researcher to design a career discovery app to mimic Spotify’s flow and algorithm to help students discover new jobs, tools, etc. needed for their career journey. Dissecting the parallels of music and career, I was surprised to find many similarities which were translated into this app design. You can view the prototype in the link below.
